The Pains of Pregnancy (sciatica)
When I first started treatment at this office, I was 3 months pregnant with our 4th child. Although I was enjoying good health, besides daily morning sickness, I was dreading the onslaught of sciatica, a condition of extreme pain, radiating from a pinched nerve in the pelvic/hip region, all the way down one or both legs, to the toes. Chronic back problems seemed to be part of my family’s life. I had had sciatica in my previous 3 pregnancies for several months each time. The pain was often debilitating and at times immobilizing. I began treatment once a week until, at Dr. Clift's recommendation; I should need to come in more often. The amazing thing was that I had only 3 days of sciatica throughout my whole pregnancy, when normally it was at least 3 months or more! Only in my last 8 weeks did I come in 2 or 3 times a week, and I couldn't have done without it. Dr. Clift spent so much time with me, realigning my hips, pelvis and spine, that tended to shift so easily, because of the pregnancy-induced relaxation hormones.
Although I had to have a c-section (my L-5 vertebra had slipped forward, a condition brought on by decay in that region, not allowing me to labor this time), my recovery was aided by Dr. Clift in such a way that I don't believe I could have handled it without his regular care, by the grace of God.
I praise God for the gift He has placed in Dr. Clift's hands, that allows us to all benefit from it, and to enjoy greater overall health as a result. I look forward to continued treatment, not just for me, but for all of us, including my little infant. To God be the glory!

Debilitating Migraines for 30 years
I had been suffering with migraine headaches for 30 years! It was not uncommon for me to have 22 migraines in a month. They were debilitating and were often accompanied by nausea. In addition to the migraines, I also had limited movement of my neck.
Since starting chiropractic care, my migraines have drastically decreased. I went from suffering with 22 migraines a month to only having 6 a month!
This treatment has been life changing for me. I can now function on a daily basis without worrying or even thinking about getting a headache.
I truly feel that God directed me here, and I feel so blessed!

92 Year old feels younger
I have been under treatment for only a short time, but the differences I have noticed are great! I don't feel like I am staggering when I am walking, and I don't have the feeling of being unbalanced. Now at church, I can walk straight up the aisle looking ahead and not have a fear of falling. I used to have to step sideways sometimes to keep my balance. I can also hear much better, and have even been able to hold a conversation with someone even if I forgot to put in my hearing aids!
I am 92 years old, and I feel so much younger, like about 80!

Distrubted by ulcerative colitis
I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 1999. I would have frequent attacks, which made me very self conscious of where I was going and if I would be okay. The doctor prescribed steroids, and I would be on them for 8-10 weeks at a time. The steroids caused me to gain weight.
I began chiropractic treatment in November 2004. At first, I noticed that I was feeling better in general, with no real change in the colitis. Over the last couple of months, with continued consistent care I have noticed a BIG improvement with the colitis as well as an overall improvement in health. The last time I was prescribed steroids was in February 2005, and at that time, I was only on them for 10 days, not 10 weeks!
Now, I am feeling great, I can go about life without worrying that an attack will affect my activities. Also, since I am off the steroids, I have been able to lose weight and am watching my diet.
Overall, this has been a very positive experience in my life!

Dealing with Asthma since childhood
“I began care in September of 2004. At that time, I had been to one other chiropractor, and was not at all impressed with the care I was given, and there was not patient education like I received here.” “As I began my treatment, I mentioned to Dr. Clift that I had had asthma from childhood, and even as an adult, I still had a lot of trouble in the spring and fall with getting asthma attacks. I was using a steroid inhaler daily, as well as a fast acting inhaler a couple times a day. Since Dr. Clift began adjusting me my symptoms decreased, and today, I do not take any drugs to control my asthma at all! This past fall, I hardly even knew I had asthma. What a relief, after living with the effects of asthma and allergies my whole life!”
